An Opportunity for Latin American Students to Study Anti-Corruption Law in the United States

Author: Matteson Ellis

TRACE2Interest in international anti-corruption law is quickly growing in Latin America. Now there is a special program for aspiring leaders in this area to study in the United States.

TRACE International offers a new Scholar Program that will fully fund, with tuition, lodging and travel, two international LLM students from developing countries to pursue studies related to strategies and tools for increasing transparency and reducing corruption. TRACE Scholars will spend an academic year at one of two universities, followed by a paid summer internship at TRACE headquarters in Annapolis, Maryland.

TRACE Scholars will have a demonstrated interest in anti-corruption efforts and will write their LLM thesis on a subject related to anti-corruption: international instruments, compliance or enforcement. They will enroll in relevant courses focused on business ethics, rule of law, governance and/or economic development.

The deadline is April 20th. For more information, visit this website.
